Full time Security Officer in Durness

Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and reliable Full-time Security Officer to maintain safety and security at our workplace in Durness, Lairg. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing security measures, responding to emergencies, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and equipment
• Monitor surveillance systems, CCTV cameras, and access control points
• Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
• Control access to sensitive areas and enforce security policies
• Perform background checks and verify the identity of individuals
• Escort visitors and employees in and out of the premises
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment
• Maintain and inspect security equipment, including cameras, alarms, and locks
• Document and report all security-related incidents
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as required
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging security threats

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a security officer
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Knowledge of security equipment and procedures
• Excellent driving record
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
