Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team at our Duxford, Cambridge location. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our staff, visitors, and assets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect suspicious activities
- Monitor and respond to security alarms and incidents
- Screen visitors and contractors, verifying their identities and purposes
- Control access to restricted areas and enforce security protocols
- Conduct vehicle inspections and searches as necessary
- Document and report all security-related incidents and activities
- Maintain a detailed log of all patrol activities and observations
- Follow all established security policies and procedures
- Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a security role in a similar environment
- Strong understanding of security principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to perform regular patrols
- Current Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or equivalent certification
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
