Description Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team at our Ealing site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises and personnel, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the site, including patrolling grounds and buildings
- Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles to prevent the entry of unauthorized items
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, following established procedures
- Report any suspicious activity or incidents to supervisors and law enforcement as necessary
- Enforce company rules and regulations, including access control and parking policies
- Maintain accurate records of all security-related incidents and activities
- Collaborate with other security personnel, local authorities, and emergency services
- Undertake regular security inspections to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Stay up-to-date with security best practices and technologies
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Qualifications:
- SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly to emergencies
- Good knowledge of security systems and technologies
- Commitment to safety and security protocols
