EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, assets, and employees from threats, while providing excellent customer service.

Overview

• Maintain a secure environment by enforcing company security policies and procedures
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems
• Respond promptly to alarms, security incidents, and emergencies
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises and ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and property
• Control access to the premises, verify credentials, and issue visitor badges
• Provide security coverage during high-risk events or periods
• Collaborate with other security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency services

Responsibilities

• Enforce all security regulations, including access control, visitor management, and parking
• Perform thorough security inspections of the premises and report any vulnerabilities
• Monitor and respond to security breaches, vandalism, or suspicious activities
• Document security incidents and provide written reports as required
• Stay updated on security best practices and technologies
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with staff and visitors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
• Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices
• Physical fitness and ability to perform duties effectively
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid security clearance (SIA or equivalent) required
• First Aid certification preferred
• Experience in using CCTV systems, access control systems, and security alarm systems
