Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or damage
• Perform routine security checks and inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds
• Enforce security policies and procedures, including access control and ID verification
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, following established protocols
• Conduct investigations and prepare incident reports
• Maintain a strong and professional demeanor while interacting with the public and employees
• Use security equipment and technology to enhance surveillance and response capabilities
• Stay updated on security best practices and regulatory requirements
• Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other security personnel and facility management

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
• Strong physical fitness and ability to work extended hours
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
• Current SIA Security Industry Authority (SIA) License or equivalent
• First Aid Certification
• Proficiency in using security equipment and technology
• Clean criminal record
