Reporting directly to the Security Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and safe work environment for employees and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, or damage
• Enforce security policies, procedures, and regulations
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies
• Conduct regular security inspections and identify potential risks
• Maintain a detailed log of all security-related activities and submit reports as required
• Control access to the premises using access cards, keys, or other means
• Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner
• Stay abreast of the latest security trends and best practices

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Hold a valid Security Officer License (SIO)
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a security role
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and protocols
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to respond to physical challenges
