Job Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Full-time Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our workplace at Gloucester GL1 1AH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, monitoring activities, and responding to potential threats.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular patrols and inspections of the building and surrounding areas
- Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activities
- Control access to the premises and verify employee and visitor identification
- Respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms or unauthorized entry
- Provide assistance to employees, clients, and visitors
- Maintain a secure perimeter and enforce safety protocols
- Conduct basic crime prevention and security awareness training
- Keep accurate records and provide regular reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to withstand extended periods of standing, walking, and potentially physically demanding situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain a keen eye for observation
- Basic knowledge of security technology and equipment
- Experience in a security or law enforcement role preferred
