Full Time Security Officer
Location: Guiseley, West Yorkshire, LS20 9ER
EarnFlex Ltd., a reputable security firm, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join their team in Guiseley. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of a designated site.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or damage
- Enforce company rules and regulations, including access control and trespassing
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents as directed
- Conduct routine checks of security systems, including CCTV cameras, door locks, and alarms
- Maintain order and discipline within the assigned area, deterring suspicious behavior and resolving conflicts
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the general public
- Prepare and file reports on incidents, security checks, and other relevant matters
- Stay up-to-date with security industry best practices and training
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in security or law enforcement
- Strong knowledge of security principles and protocols
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using security equipment, including radios, CCTV cameras, and access control systems
- Clear driving record (preferred)
- Physical fitness and ability to work extended hours, including night and weekend shifts
