Job Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Holwell, Hitchin. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, ensuring the well-being of staff and visitors, and responding to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the designated premises and surrounding areas, ensuring security and safety
- Control access to the building and verify identification as required
- Conduct regular perimeter checks and inspect building equipment for any irregularities
- Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents in a calm and professional manner
- Monitor and utilize surveillance systems, including CCTV and access control
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors with security-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate and detailed security logs and reports
- Comply with all safety and security regulations and policies
- Work closely with law enforcement and other authorities as necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous duties
- Proficiency in security procedures and operating security equipment
- Knowledge of fire safety and emergency response protocols
- Clean criminal record and valid SIA license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
