Full time Security Officer in Inverness

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Inverness. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises and assets, as well as ensuring the well-being of our employees and visitors.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including buildings, grounds, and parking lots
• Control access to restricted areas and enforce security procedures
• Respond promptly to alarms and other security incidents
• Perform regular inspections of security systems and equipment
• Report any suspicious activity, security breaches, or other incidents to supervisors
• Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations and medical emergencies
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation related to security activities
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and applicable regulations

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
• Strong knowledge of security principles and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods
• Clean criminal record

 

Additional Qualifications

• Valid SIA license or equivalent
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Fire safety training
• CCTV and access control system experience
