Job Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Ipswich. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and staff.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both internally and externally, to deter and detect suspicious activity
- Monitor CCTV footage, alarms, and access control systems to identify and respond to security breaches
- Enforce company security policies and regulations to prevent unauthorized access and theft
- Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and potential security risks
- Provide customer service assistance to visitors and staff
- Assist with fire prevention and emergency response procedures
- Maintain detailed security logs and documentation
- Keep up-to-date on industry best practices and security developments
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform regular patrols
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Experience with CCTV systems and access control technology preferred
- SIA (Security Industry Authority) certification or willingness to obtain
