Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Kilsby. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises and assets, adhering to strict security protocols and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol designated areas, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets
• Enforce security policies and procedures, including access control and visitor screening
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds, reporting any suspicious activities or hazards
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and other stakeholders, resolving complaints and addressing security concerns
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and prepare incident reports as necessary
• Maintain and operate security equipment and systems, such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control devices
• Work independently and as part of a team, ensuring effective communication and coordination

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a security officer or related role
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, emergency procedures, and risk management principles
• Excellent physical fitness and alertness, capable of performing routine patrols and responding to physical incidents
• Proficient in written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document observations and incidents clearly
• Detail-oriented and observant, with a keen eye for potential risks or suspicious behavior
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, maintaining situational awareness
• Basic computer literacy and knowledge of security systems
