Description:
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer for its on-site operations in Lawshall, Bury Saint Edmunds, UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, security, and protection of our premises, personnel, and assets.
Overview:
As a Full Time Security Officer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Enforcing building security and access control procedures
- Conducting routine patrols of the premises and perimeter
- Monitoring surveillance systems for suspicious activity
- Responding promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms
- Providing customer service to visitors and staff
- Reporting and documenting security incidents
- Liaising with local law enforcement as necessary
- Maintaining security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough security inspections of the premises
- Enforce access control procedures to ensure the safety of authorized individuals
- Respond to alarms and investigate any suspicious activity promptly
- Report incidents, observe activity, and identify and apprehend intruders
- Ensure the safety and well-being of visitors, staff, and contractors
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for security-related incidents and activities
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a security officer role
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and best practices
- Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Physically fit and able to perform physical tasks, such as patrolling and responding to incidents
- UK Security Industry Authority (SIA) license required or equivalent qualification
- Experience with CCTV surveillance systems is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
