Description Overview
EarnFlex Ltd., a leading financial services provider, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to join our team in Leicester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, assets, and visitors at our on-site premises.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure the premises 24/7 using CCTV, access control systems, and other security measures
- Patrol the premises to detect and deter unauthorized individuals or activities
- Respond to security breaches and emergencies promptly and effectively
- Enforce company security policies and procedures
- Conduct thorough background checks on visitors and contractors
- Control access to restricted areas and monitor the movement of personnel
- Maintain a detailed log of security incidents and reports
- Cooperate with law enforcement and emergency services as required
- Stay up-to-date on security best practices and relevant legislation
Qualifications
- Relevant security certification or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within a commercial or corporate environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong physical presence and ability to handle potentially dangerous situations
- Detail-oriented and analytical with a keen eye for potential risks
- Proficient in operating security equipment and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and ability to work flexible hours
