Job Overview:
EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to safeguard the property and personnel at our Lindsell facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the company's assets, maintaining a secure environment, and enforcing company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol the facility, including perimeter and interior areas, to detect and prevent unauthorized entry or activity
- Respond to security incidents swiftly and effectively, including alarms, breaches, and suspicious activities
- Conduct security inspections and report potential hazards or vulnerabilities
- Operate access control systems, including key management and visitor screening
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security, including access restrictions and code of conduct
- Maintain detailed security logs and provide regular reports on security-related incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as needed
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging security threats
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a commercial or industrial setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work in a demanding environment
- Proficient in using a variety of security equipment, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and communication devices
- Valid driver's license
- SIA Security Officer license or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of employment
