Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and conscientious Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Loddon, Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our clients' premises and assets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to buildings and facilities
- Conduct routine security patrols, both on foot and in a vehicle
- Respond to alarms and security breaches promptly and professionally
- Document security incidents and observations
- Enforce company safety and security policies and procedures
- Inspect and maintain security equipment, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems
- Assist with crowd control and event security as required
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency responders as necessary
- Perform other duties assigned by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Security Officer
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for suspicious activity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of working extended hours and in inclement weather
- Clean criminal record and valid driver's license
Additional Requirements
- SIA license preferred
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Familiarity with security equipment and technologies
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations
Workplace
- On-site at client premises in Loddon, Norwich NR14
- Day and night shifts available
