Full time Security Officer in Mallaig

Job Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Mallaig, UK. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the company's premises, assets, and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure the premises, including entrances, exits, and designated areas
• Conduct regular patrols, both internally and externally, to deter and detect unauthorized activity
• Respond to alarms, investigate incidents, and take appropriate action
• Control access to the premises and verify identification of visitors and employees
• Assist in implementing and enforcing security protocols and procedures
• Monitor surveillance cameras and other security systems, and report any suspicious activity
• Maintain detailed logs and records of security activities
• Liaise with external security contractors, law enforcement, and other emergency responders
• Undertake regular training to stay abreast of industry best practices and advancements
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety

Qualifications

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license (or ability to obtain one)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security role, with a proven track record of maintaining security standards
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills
• Strong physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in the use of security equipment and technology
• Familiarity with UK security legislation and regulations
• Clean driving license
