Shifts: 12 hours per day, then four-on, four-off shift pattern.  

Description:

We are searching a vigilant and dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-time Security Officer in Manchester. As a Security Officer, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and staff. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to the overall security measures of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security protocols and company policies to ensure compliance and safety.
• Provide assistance and support to visitors and employees as needed.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance security skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures is an asset.
