Description Overview:
At EarnFlex Ltd., we are seeking a highly competent and experienced Full Time Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises in Naseby, Northampton. As part of our security team, you will be responsible for safeguarding employees, visitors, and assets while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas regularly, both inside and outside the premises
- Respond promptly to security incidents, including emergencies
- Control access to facilities, enforce security policies, and conduct security checks
- Deter and apprehend trespassers, unauthorized persons, and potential threats
- Operate security equipment, such as CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security breaches
- Provide support and assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors
- Document security incidents, maintain records, and generate reports
- Keep abreast of security protocols and technological advancements
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, law enforcement, and other authorities
- Protect confidential information and adhere to data protection regulations
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Security or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
- Excellent physical fitness and situational awareness
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid SIA license (Security Industry Authority) is essential
- First Aid certification preferred
- Experience in using CCTV and other security equipment is advantageous
