Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the safety and security of our premises and personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and secure the premises, including access control, perimeter patrols, and surveillance
• Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms, fires, and emergencies
• Maintain and inspect security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems
• Conduct routine security patrols and inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors
• Document and report security incidents and observations
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and presentable appearance

Qualifications:

• SIA License (Level 2 or above)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Physical fitness and ability to work extended hours
• Proficient in the use of security equipment and technology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Clean criminal record and background check
