Full Time Security Officer in Newton stewart

Job Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to join our team at our Newton Stewart location. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and assets.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor the premises, both internally and externally, to deter and detect unauthorized activity
• Respond promptly to alarms and other security breaches
• Conduct ID checks and access control measures for authorized personnel
• Secure and monitor entrances and exits, including gates, doors, and windows
• Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to management
• Assist in developing and implementing security policies and procedures
• Maintain emergency equipment and communications systems
• Provide a visible and reassuring presence to deter crime and promote a safe environment
• Conduct routine security checks, including CCTV monitoring and foot patrols
• Provide support to staff in the event of a security incident or emergency

Qualifications:

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a security officer role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong observation and attention to detail
• Physical fitness and stamina to carry out duties effectively
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and other security technologies
• First Aid certification preferred
