Job Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security principles and practices, with a proven track record of protecting assets, deterring crime, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas, including buildings, grounds, and perimeter
- Enforce security policies and procedures, including access control, visitor management, and fire safety
- Conduct security checks, including vehicle inspections and bag searches
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms
- Maintain and operate security equipment, such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and fire alarms
- Report security concerns and incidents to management
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel
- Provide assistance to visitors, employees, and tenants
Qualifications
- Certified Security Guard License (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security role
- Strong knowledge of security principles and practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using security equipment and technology
