EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to join its team in Peebles. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing security services to protect the company's assets, personnel, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure security and detect any suspicious activity
• Respond promptly to security alerts and incidents, following established protocols
• Enforce security policies and procedures, including access control and surveillance
• Conduct regular security inspections to identify and address potential vulnerabilities
• Assist with crowd control and event management as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents and activities
• Report any unusual occurrences or suspicious behavior to supervisors
• Provide customer service and assist visitors with inquiries
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and regulations related to security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a security officer
• Strong physical and mental abilities, with excellent alertness and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using security equipment and technology
• Current SIA license or certification preferred
• Clean background check required
