Full Time Security Officer in Ponteland

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to safeguard our premises in Ponteland, Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and well-being of our staff, assets, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises, both internally and externally, to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and damage
• Enforce security protocols and procedures, including access control, ID verification, and incident reporting
• Respond promptly to security breaches, accidents, or emergencies, and implement appropriate measures
• Conduct security inspections, identify potential risks, and recommend improvements to security systems
• Maintain detailed records of all security incidents, patrols, and observations
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements in security
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Security Officer in a commercial or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional demeanor and a positive attitude
• Valid SIA license (preferable)
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferable)
