Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team at our Shottle, Belper location. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises, staff, and assets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and prevent criminal activity
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to access control, security, and safety
- Conduct routine security inspections and report any suspicious activities or hazards
- Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents in a timely and effective manner
- Assist visitors and employees with directions, security clearances, and other requests
- Maintain clear and concise security logs and documentation
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary
- Undergo regular training to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and security protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security role
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical fitness and ability to perform duties in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of security equipment and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
