Overview:
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at our Southwold location. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the company's assets, employees, and visitors while maintaining a strong security presence.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to detect and prevent security breaches
- Respond to alarms and investigate suspicious activity
- Screen visitors and check for proper identification
- Maintain access control systems and issue keys
- Enforce security policies and procedures
- Conduct routine inspections of security systems and equipment
- Report incidents and observations to supervisors
- Assist with crowd control and emergency situations
- Provide customer service to visitors and employees
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and security regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proficient in security systems, such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
- Strong physical presence and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or equivalent
