Overview:
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to join our team in Stevenage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises and safeguarding personnel and assets.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and prevent unauthorized access, theft, or other security breaches
- Enforce company security policies and procedures, including access control, alarm response, and visitor management
- Conduct regular security inspections and report any suspicious activities or hazards
- Investigate security incidents, gather evidence, and report findings to management
- Maintain and inspect security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems
- Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors in case of emergencies
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with the public and other stakeholders
- Work effectively as part of a team and report to the Security Manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a security officer role
- Current Security Industry Authority (SIA) license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Proficient in using security equipment and reporting systems
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass background checks
