Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to provide a secure and safe environment at our facility in Tewin, UK. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of security protocols and best practices, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the facility to deter crime and ensure the safety of employees and visitors
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
- Inspect vehicles entering and exiting the facility for unauthorized items or individuals
- Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of designated areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Check identification cards and conduct bag checks as necessary
- Provide customer service and assist visitors with directions or other requests
- Report suspicious activities and incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all security-related activities
- Participate in training and drills to stay up-to-date with security best practices
- Collaborate with other security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders
Qualifications
- Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or equivalent certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting, preferably with commercial property experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform prolonged periods of walking and standing
- Proficient in using security equipment, such as radios, body-worn cameras, and access control systems
- Knowledge of security protocols, regulations, and emergency procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
