Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of property and personnel
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly and efficiently
- Conduct security checks, including access control, ID verification, and vehicle inspections
- Maintain order and control unruly or disruptive individuals
- Report suspicious activities, security breaches, and potential threats to management
- Document security incidents and provide written reports as needed
- Maintain security equipment and systems, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms
- Conduct routine security assessments and make recommendations for improvements
- Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with visitors and employees
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a security officer in a similar setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
- Physical fitness and ability to withstand long periods of standing, walking, and monitoring
- Working knowledge of security equipment and systems
- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to security
- First-aid and CPR certification is preferred
