Job Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a full-time Security Officer to join our team in Wakefield. This role is responsible for maintaining safety and security within the premises of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access points
- Conduct regular patrols to deter crime and ensure compliance with security policies
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and provide assistance
- Enforce rules and regulations, issue violations as necessary
- Maintain security logs and report suspicious activity
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other security professionals
- Provide friendly customer service and answer questions from employees and visitors
- Adhere to all safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of proven experience as a security officer
- Certification from a nationally-accredited security training program (preferred)
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina for long hours of standing and patrolling
- Keen observation skills and situational awareness
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Additional Requirements
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license (UK)
- First-aid and CPR certification (preferred)
- Experience working in a fast-paced and high-risk environment
