Job Overview:
EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Wantage. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, personnel, and assets, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the premises, including pedestrian and vehicular traffic
- Conduct regular security patrols and inspections of the facility and surrounding areas
- Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents, following established protocols
- Document and report all security-related activities, including incidents, observations, and concerns
- Enforce security policies and procedures, including bag checks, ID verification, and access control
- Operate security equipment and systems, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection devices
- Provide support and assistance to law enforcement and emergency responders as required
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff, visitors, and contractors
- Stay abreast of security best practices and industry regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a security officer role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for suspicious activity
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a demanding environment
- Proficient in the use of security-related equipment and systems
- Knowledge of security regulations and protocols
- SIA license or equivalent certification preferred
