Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, assets, and employees, ensuring the safety and security of our workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to designated areas, using electronic systems and manual checks
- Patrol the premises and respond promptly to alarms and suspicious activities
- Conduct thorough searches of visitors, vehicles, and packages upon entry and exit
- Document and report incidents, emergencies, and suspicious behaviors
- Assist in the enforcement of safety regulations and company policies
- Provide customer service and assist visitors and employees as needed
- Maintain a professional demeanor and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications:
- SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as a Security Officer in a similar or relevant environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform duties that may involve walking, standing, and lifting
- Experience with CCTV and security systems preferred
