Description:
EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Yoxford, Suffolk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and assets.
Overview:
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment for employees, visitors, and property
- Enforce company security policies and procedures
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of the premises
- Monitor and respond to alarms and emergencies
- Control access to the premises and conduct security checks
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary
- Generate and maintain accurate security reports
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a highly visible presence to deter crime and maintain order
- Inspect and report any security risks or vulnerabilities
- Conduct investigations and resolve security incidents
- Provide support to employees and visitors in emergency situations
- Assist with crowd control and manage access to restricted areas
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and security technologies
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work shifts
- Proficiency in using security equipment and technology
- Clear understanding of security protocols and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- SIA-licensed (or working towards it) is desirable
