Description Overview:
Assistant Security Officer (Full-time)
Purpose:
To ensure the safety and well-being of staff, clients, and visitors at the Sodexo head office in London.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security cameras, CCTV systems, and access control points
- Conduct regular security patrols on foot or by vehicle
- Enforce company security policies and procedures
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
- Provide assistance with crowd management and access control
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, patrols, and observations
- Report any suspicious or potential security risks
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other security organizations
- Undertake regular security training and stay up-to-date with best practices
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a security role
- Strong understanding of security principles and procedures
- Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
- SIA license or equivalent qualification desirable
