Description Overview:
EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to protect its premises and assets at its Acomb, York location. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional security skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent and detect any suspicious activity
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections
- Operate security surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras and alarms
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies
- Control access to the premises and conduct visitor screening
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date security logs and reports
- Enforce company security policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with emergency situations
- Work closely with other security personnel and law enforcement agencies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong physical fitness and agility
- Proficiency in operating security surveillance systems
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is desirable
- SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is highly desirable
