Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Cirencester. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at our workplace located at Tetbury Rd, Cirencester GL7 1FP.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the premises, including checking identification and issuing visitors' passes
- Conduct regular patrols to identify and respond to potential security threats
- Enforce company security policies and procedures
- Investigate and resolve security incidents, including theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry
- Use surveillance equipment to monitor activities and detect suspicious behavior
- Maintain and update security logs and reports
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Provide a courteous and professional demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and members of the public
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work flexible hours
- Proficiency in using surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras and access control systems
- Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or willingness to obtain one
- Clean criminal record
