Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our premises and personnel in Great Yarmouth. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, problem-solving, and observational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol designated areas, enforcing security policies and procedures
• Screen visitors, verify credentials, and control access to the premises
• Conduct security inspections of vehicles and equipment
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies promptly and effectively
• Conduct regular security audits and report findings to management
• Maintain security equipment, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential threats
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong observational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly to emergencies
• Basic knowledge of security equipment and procedures
• Clean criminal record and DBS check required
