Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a Security Officer to enhance the safety and security of our workplace located in Greetwell, Lincoln. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, patrolling, and responding to emergency situations to ensure the protection of staff, assets, and property.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and surroundings through video surveillance, patrols, and other security measures
- Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergency situations
- Enforce security policies and procedures, such as access control and restricted area monitoring
- Conduct security inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Assist in the investigation of incidents and provide relevant information to law enforcement
- Maintain security equipment, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to supervisors or management
- Stay informed about security best practices and emerging threats
- Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with staff, visitors, and external agencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a related role
- Strong understanding of security principles and protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to think critically and respond effectively to emergency situations
- Physical ability to perform patrols, inspections, and other physical duties
- Valid security license or certification (as required by law)
- Clean criminal record
