Security Officer in Kilmarnock

Job Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to guard our Kilmarnock location. The successful candidate will be in charge of maintaining a secure environment, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the safety of employees and visitors.
 

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the building, grounds and access points to prevent unauthorised entry and activity.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and crises immediately and effectively.
• Conduct access control and identification verification for staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or individuals.
• Maintain contact with the local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Document and report security occurrences and activity.
• enforce building laws, policies, and processes.
• Offer customer support and help with inquiries and requests.
   

Qualifications

• Requirements: 2+ years of experience as a Security Officer or comparable security function, as well as strong communication, interpersonal, and dispute resolution skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Physical fitness and the capacity to work extended hours, including nights and weekends
• Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence or similar certification.
• Knowledge of security equipment and technologies.
• First aid and CPR certification is preferred.
