Description Overview
EarnFlex Ltd., a leading provider of payroll solutions, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at our Knebworth location (Post Code: SG1 2AX). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our workplace and staff.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the premises, both inside and out
- Control access to restricted areas
- Conduct regular security inspections and report any suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Document and report all incidents and observations
- Assist in the evacuation of employees in case of emergencies
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Maintain a professional demeanor and interact positively with employees, visitors, and contractors
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Security Guard License (SIA) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
- Strong physical fitness and situational awareness
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proficient in using surveillance equipment and alarm systems
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
- Willing to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
