Description Overview
EarnFlex Ltd., a reputable company based in Swindon, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, ensuring the safety of our employees, and responding to security incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or other security breaches
- Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents, and take appropriate action
- Inspect and maintain security equipment, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and fire extinguishers
- Screen visitors and employees, and enforce security policies
- Conduct security checks on vehicles and packages entering the premises
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to management
- Assist with emergency situations, such as fire, evacuation, or medical emergencies
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- 2+ years of experience as a Security Officer or in a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Physical fitness and ability to work independently
- Experience with security equipment and systems
- Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or willingness to obtain one
