Security Officer Job Description:

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to join our team in Kington HR5, UK. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols to prevent and detect unauthorized activities within the premises.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to potential security threats.
• Act swiftly and efficiently in response to incidents such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security protocols and company policies to maintain compliance and safety standards.
• Provide assistance and guidance to visitors and employees regarding security concerns.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing security training programs to enhance skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Possession of a valid security license or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical fitness with the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures is advantageous.
• Valid SIA license, proof of right to work in the UK, proof of address, and five years of work experience.
