Full time Security Officer in Horsham

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Location: Horsham - RH12 4QD

Contract type: Long-term Pay: £12 per hour

Shifts: 12 hours per day, then four-on, four-off shift pattern.  

Responsibilities:

- Static Site at the Hospital, warm and safe environment in the control room

- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment

- Protect property and assets by maintaining a visible presence and deterring illegal or inappropriate actions

- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats

- Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches

- Conduct investigations and write detailed incident reports

- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security regulations

- Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns

Skills:

- First Aid: Possess knowledge of basic first aid procedures and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies

- CCTV: Familiarity with closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and the ability to monitor cameras for suspicious activities or security breaches

- Loss Prevention: Understand principles of loss prevention and implement strategies to minimize theft or damage to property

- Surveillance: Proficient in conducting surveillance activities, including monitoring areas for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access.
