Wakefield Security Supervisor Position Description:
We are searching for a diligent and professional Security Officer to join our team in Wakefield. As a Security Officer, you will be in charge of ensuring a safe and secure environment for our premises, workers, and visitors.
Security Officer Key Roles in Wakefield:
- Conduct regular patrols to dissuade and identify unauthorised activity on the premises.
- Regularly monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to discover and respond to any potential security concerns.
- Respond properly and quickly to situations such as medical events, fire alarms, and security breaches.
- Enforce security processes and company rules to guarantee compliance and meet safety standards.
- Answer visitors' and employees' questions and concerns.
- Create complete incident reports and keep accurate records of security-related actions.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed to handle security issues.
- Participate in training programmes to improve your security skills and remain current on industry best practices.
Security Officer Position Requirements in Wakefield::
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related disciplines is preferable, but not necessary.
- Possession of a current security licence or the capacity to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and great problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility in working varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response methods is beneficial.
- Valid SIA licence, proof of right to work in the UK, proof of address, and 5 years of work experience.
